The Story Behind MiSQue

It started with something simple.

MiSQue didn't begin with a grand business plan or a long list of products. It started with something much more familiar — enjoying time outdoors, discovering new places and appreciating the moments that come with them.

A walk somewhere new. A familiar path worth returning to. The changing light across a landscape. And, more often than not, Lily leading the way.

Those experiences have always been part of what makes getting outside worthwhile.

Over time, they also became the inspiration for MiSQue.

From walks to ideas

There's something about spending time outdoors that creates space for new ideas.

Some walks are about exploring somewhere completely new. Others are about returning to favourite places, noticing something different or simply enjoying being away from the usual routine.

Lily has been part of countless walks and adventures along the way. And photography became a natural extension of those experiences — a way of capturing places, light and moments that might otherwise pass by.

Gradually, the idea began to form: what if we could create something that brought those connections together?

Not simply another clothing brand or another place to buy photography, but something built around the experiences that inspire both.

Two worlds, one connection

Today, MiSQue is developing around two complementary areas.

MiSQue Clothing brings together original designs inspired by walking, exploring and everyday adventures. Clothing that feels connected to the places we go and the things we enjoy doing.

MiSQue Photography takes that connection in a different direction, bringing carefully selected landscape photography from independent photographers into the home.

They're different products, but the inspiration behind them is much the same.

The outdoors doesn't have to be somewhere extraordinary. Sometimes it's a favourite local walk, a familiar stretch of coastline or a view you've seen a hundred times.

It's the connection that matters.

Building something considered

As MiSQue grows, we're trying to keep one principle at the centre of what we do: make things that mean something.

That means taking care over the designs we create, the photographers we work with and the collections we choose to develop.

We'd rather build gradually and thoughtfully than fill the website with products simply because we can.

It's an approach that will continue to shape MiSQue as new ideas become part of the story.

This is only the beginning

MiSQue is still a young business, and there's plenty more we'd like to explore.

More places to discover. More photographs to share. More designs and ideas to develop.

We don't know exactly where every part of the journey will lead, and that's part of what makes it interesting.

For now, we're building something inspired by the outdoors, the people and places we encounter, and the moments that stay with us.

And, naturally, there will be plenty more walks with Lily along the way.
